Please bring a yoga mat or even a lounge chair cushion, a small pillow/a bolster, and a blanket. An eye mask and lip balm can be nice, too. You'll be laying down for about an hour, bring what you need to be comfortable. Comfortable clothing is recommended and please don't eat a heavy meal before this healing session.

 Top Spring Potluck and Bingo 2025

Join us for a cozy evening of great food, laughter, and community fun at our Spring Potluck & Loonie Bingo on Saturday, March 7th from 6:30–9:00 p.m. at the Davisburg Community Hall!

Bring your favourite dish to share - whether it’s your famous casserole, a fresh spring salad, or Grandma’s pie - and enjoy a night of connection and friendly competition with neighbours and friends.

Once plates are full, the real fun begins with Loonie Bingo!
Cards are just $1 each, and there will be plenty of chances to win small prizes and big smiles.

Learn To Make Sourdough!

Ready to bring the magic of sourdough into your kitchen?
 
Join your neighbours for a hands-on, beginner-friendly sourdough class where you will learn the foundations of working with wild yeast, nurturing your starter, and creating your first beautiful, nourishing loaf from scratch.
 
Saturday, March 21st at 1pm (until approximately 3, but it could go a bit longer!)
Registration is $30 per person 
 
We’ll explore the rhythm of sourdough — from mixing and folding to shaping and scoring — so you walk away confident, inspired, and ready to bake at home. No prior experience needed, just curiosity and a love for real food.
 
Together we’ll:
• Understand how a sourdough starter works
• Learn the step-by-step method for dough preparation
• Practice shaping and scoring
• Talk timing, troubleshooting, and baking tips
• Take home your own ready-to-use starter - bring a small jar!
 
This is a cozy, grounded, welcoming space — come nourish your hands, your senses, and your home with the art of slow bread.

We are happy to announce that registration for the 2026 season is open!

The season will run all throughout May and June for Sodbusters Baseball and Sodbusters Soccer.

We would like to welcome Jarred Holder back as our Sports Director this year - he is geared up again to create opportunities for youth in Davisburg to enjoy a great game!

We are still looking for additional help in the following areas:

  • coaches!
  • soccer coordinator to help manage communications with the players, coaches and parents
  • equipment coordinator to help distribute, order & organize equipment prior to and during the season for soccer and/or baseball
  • umpire coordinator baseball
  • team photo coordinator soccer/baseball

When registering please note that your fee includes purchase of a membership for the Davisburg Community Association. 

  • Our team will reconcile this on the backend and refund membership fees to registrants who already have a valid membership. 
  • We will also issue membership refunds to registrants with multiple children (as Davisburg is a family membership and additional children are covered under the 1st family membership).
  • Register for multiple teams (Soccer & Tee Ball/9U)

*About DCA Membership: Our membership fees allow our association to cover annual costs including: Building maintenance, facility cleaning, lawn care, utilities, community events and administrative support.

Kidsport & Jump Start 

Both KidSport and Jump Start provide grants for families facing financial barriers so their kids can participate in registered sport programs.

Equipment
The DCA supplies helmets and bats for players at no cost, however, players are encouraged to bring their own helmets and bats. Players are responsible for their own baseball gloves and must be equipped with closed toe shoes (baseball cleats or athletic shoes), protective athletic cups, and long pants (baseball pants or other) at all practices and games.

Grand Slam Sports in Okotoks is a great local resource for baseball equipment and advice. The team at Grand Slam has extended a preferred rate to Sodbusters players on select items, so make sure to let them know that you are a member of the Davisburg Community Association to get a 10% discount when you are shopping! This includes everything except Baum bats and Stance socks. Check out their February 40% off sale on all footwear, and 40% off the Rawlings R16 or Velo helmets!
